Majestic Care of Livonia is excited to share resident Carolyn D’s Success Story!
Carolyn came to Majestic Care of Livonia following a hospitalization for neck surgery. Before her stay, she was living independently in a senior apartment and was determined to return home as soon as possible. Upon arrival, she required extensive assistance with self-care, transfers, and walking due to decreased strength and endurance.
With the support of our skilled nursing and therapy teams, Carolyn worked hard and made steady progress. Within just a few weeks, she was back to her normal self—independently completing her self-care and walking the community with her walker! She has since returned to her apartment, stronger and more confident than before. When asked about her therapy experience, Carolyn shared: “They were tough, but it was a good tough.” We’re so proud of her determination and the teamwork that helped her reach her goals.
