Majestic Care of Connersville is excited to highlight resident Darla Whisman!
Darla was admitted to Majestic Care of Connersville’s Ventilator Unit in April of this year. We received her referral from Hancock AMG Specialty Hospital. Darla had been to other facilities prior to ours, and decided it was time for a change and choose to come to Majestic Care of Connersville. When Darla arrived, she was unable to care for herself or complete any activities of daily living, but her goal was to become more independent to return home. With all of Darla’s hard work and determination, she started her journey with our team to meet those goals. After a month of extensive rehab, Darla was able to walk and help with all her activities of daily living! We are so proud to announce that Darla is now ready for discharge and will return to her home, which was her wish from the day she entered our community.
Darla states “The Nurses, QMA’s and CNA’s have given the absolute best care to me. I’ve been treated with nothing but kindness and like I was family. Therapy has been top notch and has helped me reach my goals to where at times I often wondered if they would ever come true. But at Majestic Care, no one ever gave up on me and they were determined to ensure my wishes come true. I will always cherish this facility and highly recommend this facility.”
