We are proud to highlight Sharon R. Sheets LSW, Social Services Director at Majestic Care of Middletown. Sharon is an experienced long term care professional with 26 years of experience as a social worker and administrator.
Caring for the senior community holds a special place in her heart. Her parents and grandparents inspired her and instilled the values she holds today.
“My grandparents were a very important part of my life. Our parents taught us to respect them and to value them and they helped to raise us. Our family was very close. I was in Girl Scouts and started volunteering at a nursing home, playing bingo with the residents on a Saturday.”
Sharon enjoys connecting with residents, extending them dignity, respect, and understanding. “I love hearing the stories of their life and all their experiences that they’ve had. It’s just the best part of my day. I know their families and their stories.”
She loves to see residents improve tremendously while as Majestic Care of Middletown. She says, “It’s satisfying to help residents accomplish their goals and return home. I’m glad to have been part of that journey”
