CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Majestic Care announced today that it has entered into agreements to acquire and operate four long-term care facilities from the State of West Virginia: Hopemont Hospital (Preston County), Jackie Withrow Hospital (Raleigh County), John Manchin Sr. Health Care Center (Marion County), and Lakin Hospital (Mason County). The transaction is expected to close later this quarter, pending customary approvals. Majestic Care, an affiliate of Marx Development Group, will operate the facilities, ensuring continuity of care today and investing for better care tomorrow.

Upon closing, Majestic Care will:
· Maintain uninterrupted services for residents, continuing participation in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
· Retain and support current care team members, extending employment offers that honor their service while prioritizing training, benefits, and professional growth.
· Invest in facility upgrades, launching a multi-year capital program to modernize infrastructure, clinical equipment, and resident amenities, while enhancing quality and safety initiatives.
· Engage the community, holding listening sessions in each county within the first 30 days to gather input from residents, families, staff, and local leaders.
