With a career dedicated to healthcare, Majestic Care of West Allen’s Executive Director, Zach Krumwied has been making a meaningful impact in long-term care. His journey began after graduating from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. Since beginning his AIT in 2007, Zach has spent his entire adult professional career in healthcare, gaining valuable experience and building strong connections along the way.
Zach’s path into long-term care wasn’t initially planned, but it quickly became a lifelong passion. “I honestly didn’t know a lot about the industry when I started. I just knew I wanted to be in healthcare,” he shares. “After the first few years, I realized it would be a life-long career. I love hearing the stories and life experiences daily.”
His passion for working with the mental health population has shaped much of his career. “That is what most of my career has brought me. It is very interesting and rewarding,” he explains. The relationships he builds with residents and Care Team members inspire him every day. Even during challenging times in healthcare, Zach remains motivated by the people around him. “The residents, Care Team members, and families keep me going,” he says. The daily interactions and experiences make his role incredibly rewarding.
“The relationships I build with our Care Team members and residents are what I find most fulfilling,” he shares. “Every day is different, and I love the connections I get to make.” Thank you, Zach, for your dedication and leadership in long-term care!
