Christine Page was a P.E. and Health teacher for 20 years. Teaching was more than a job to her, it was her passion. In addition to teaching students about being healthy and staying active, she lived what she taught and enjoyed walking regularly. In 2016, Mrs. Page retired from her rewarding career in education and unfortunately, within the same year, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. As time went on, frustration and confusion became increasingly prominent in her life. As difficult as it was, her husband, Mike, began looking for alternate care for her and came across Majestic Care of Sheridan. Christine was ultimately admitted and has made many improvements. She has continued to thrive and enjoy life to her fullest potential and Mike has found peace of mind in knowing she is safe, loved and cared for. Christine is often found walking the halls with a beautiful smile on her face. Though life has changed drastically for her, she continues to do what she has always loved the most and that is staying active and walking daily. The Care Team Members at Majestic Care are thankful for the opportunity to assist Christine with having the best quality of life as possible. It is always an honor to give back to someone who has spent her life giving to others.
