At Majestic Care of Fort Wayne, we are proud to highlight Alexis Brennan, our dedicated Social Services Director, during Social Work Month! With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Health Care Administration, Alexis brings a strong foundation of knowledge and experience to her role.
With 10 years in healthcare, Alexis has always been passionate about advocating for residents while staying actively involved in their daily lives. She shares, “Being an advocate for residents but still being involved in their daily lives is important to me.” Her passion for working with this population stems from her deep interest in mental health and human behavior. She explains, “I think it’s important to understand how people think, their different life experiences, and how their choices impact their future.”
Like many in the healthcare field, Alexis has faced challenges, but she finds motivation through her coworkers and residents. She describes working in healthcare as being part of one big family, collaborating to ensure residents receive the best care possible. For Alexis, the most rewarding part of her role is the trusting bonds she builds with residents. “You create bonds where residents feel comfortable coming to you, knowing that you’ll take care of their concerns in a timely manner,” she shares.
