What has ‘empowered’ you to become a social worker?: I love working as a social worker and have worked with many different populations over the years. I find that LTC is by far my most fulfilling role yet . With the uncertainty of the world we live in, social services empowers me by allowing me to be a light in the darkness.
As we celebrate Social Work Month, what message or advice would you like to share with the community about the importance of social work in long-term care?: Although my impact on the world as a whole is minuscule, I have learned over the years that making a small difference in the life of one person can impact an entire community.
