Majestic Care of Flushing is excited to share our resident, Ann Knight’s Success Story!
Ms. Ann Knight is a long-term care resident at Majestic Care of Flushing who was experiencing issues with swallowing and weakness from a past stroke. She was evaluated by therapy and an individualized plan was developed to help her regain some of her lost independence. Her biggest success story was working on her swallowing with speech therapy. She is excited to participate in the coffee hour again and enjoy her coffee-time socialization. She was also able to regain the ability to use a regular cup again with meals again. Every day she grew stronger and can now get back to her everyday life here at Majestic Care of Flushing. Ms. Knight loved working with the therapy team, which she lovingly called “her girls”. Congratulations to Ann and her Care Team on their success!
