Congratulations to Paul Marcum and his dedicated Care Team Members!
Majestic Care of Whitehall welcomed Mr. Paul Marcum after a brief hospital stay for altered mental status. Mr. Marcum presented with confusion, deconditioning and poor appetite. He had been living with family and he wanted to return home.
Mr. Marcum required skilled care from our multidisciplinary team that included nursing, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and social services to help achieve his goals. While participating in therapy Paul was able to make significant strides in his rehabilitation. Upon arrival, Mr. Marcum required moderate assistance for activities of daily living, bed mobility and orientation to his environment. Due to his perseverance and tenacity, Paul was excited to discharge home with his family a few months after his arrival.
