In August, Mary suffered a serious head injury from a fall, leaving her in need of significant assistance with daily tasks. At the beginning of her recovery, she required maximum help with daily living activities and relied on a Hoyer lift for transfers. With the unwavering support of our skilled and compassionate therapy team, Mary worked tirelessly through physical and occupational therapy. Step by step, she gained strength and independence. Soon, Mary was able to perform activities of daily living with modified independence, and she progressed from needing a Hoyer lift to performing transfers with minimal assistance. By early December, after months of determination and effort, Mary successfully completed her therapy journey. Her story is a testament to perseverance, the dedication of a care team, and the remarkable progress that can be achieved through hard work. Congratulations, Mary, on your amazing progress!
