Ruth came to Majestic Care of New Haven after a serious fall, determined to regain her strength, confidence, and independence. Upon arrival, she faced challenges with mobility and daily routines while following precautions to support healing. With the support of our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams, Ruth began a personalized rehabilitation journey focused on helping her safely return home.
Throughout her stay, Ruth worked hard to rebuild her strength, improve her balance, and enhance her safety and confidence with everyday activities. Step by step, she achieved remarkable progress. Her mobility improved significantly, and she advanced to walking safely with a walker while becoming more independent in her daily routines. She also strengthened important cognitive skills that helped her navigate daily life with greater confidence.
Thanks to her determination and the dedication of her care team, Ruth achieved her goal of returning home safely. Today, she is enjoying life at home with renewed confidence and the skills needed to continue moving forward successfully.
