Majestic Care of Deming Park is excited to share resident Shirlynn’s Success Story!
When Shirlynn first arrived at Majestic Care of Deming Park, she required total assistance with all activities of daily living and relied on a mechanical lift for transfers. Walking on her own wasn’t possible. Through dedication, determination, and the support of our skilled therapy and nursing teams, Shirlynn made incredible progress! Daily rehabilitation sessions focused on strength, balance, and functional mobility helped her gradually regain confidence and independence.
By the time of her discharge, Shirlynn was transferring with only contact guard assistance using a walker, walking 60–80 feet at a time, and completing her ADLs with minimal help! Her perseverance was truly inspiring, and we are so proud to have supported her journey toward greater independence!
