At Majestic Care of Flushing, we are honored to have Timothy Hunter leading our community as Executive Director! With 15 years of experience in healthcare and a strong educational background—including a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences, and an Associate of Science—Timothy has dedicated his career to improving the lives of others. He further expanded his expertise by earning his Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) certification from Michigan State University.
Timothy’s passion for healthcare was sparked by a personal experience—watching his grandmother go through short-term rehab and inpatient rehabilitation. This firsthand experience inspired him to pursue a career where he could make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in similar situations. His dedication to serving the geriatric population comes from a deep appreciation for their experiences and sacrifices. “This population has been through everything, and it’s a fantastic way to give back for all they have done over the years,” he says.
Even during challenging times in healthcare, Timothy remains motivated by his drive to find the best possible outcomes for those he serves. Knowing that he has positively impacted someone’s life is what keeps him going every day. The most rewarding part of his role? Witnessing what he calls “little miracles.” These moments may not happen daily, but when they do, they are truly something special to witness.
