Majestic Care of Southport is excited to share resident Chris G’s Success Story!
Chris came to Majestic Care of Southport in May of 2022. At that time, he was receiving dialysis, experiencing physical decline, and relied on a wheelchair for mobility. With determination and the support of our dedicated therapy team, Chris regained his strength and is now able to walk throughout our community with a cane! Because of his hard work and progress, Chris is now on the transplant waiting list at IU. He shares that Majestic Care and our in-house dialysis team have given him excellent care, making his experience healthier and more convenient—especially compared to when he had to shuttle back and forth in the cold winter months.
Chris enjoys staying active by riding the bike in our therapy gym and loves participating in community activities such as birthday parties, live music, church services, restaurant visits, shopping trips, movies, and even a zoo outing this summer! He also wanted to give a special shoutout to our dialysis provider, DaVita, and the amazing staff who make a difference in his life—especially his caring nurse, Jennifer Grimes, and DaVita tech, Casey Flanagan. Chris says his time at Majestic Care has made him a healthier, friendlier, and more spiritual person—and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress!
