
Majestic Care is proud to highlight Chris Hudson, Executive Director at Majestic Care of Columbus. Bringing 25 years of experience as an administrator, Chris most values the ability to make a difference in the lives of residents.
“Some days that’s working with the residents directly or it can be helping to oversee their care with guidance of the team. I aim to meet and exceed customer expectations, and to put myself in the place of the residents, the staff, the families. I imagine if I was in the same situation and look for opportunities to make a difference.”
His heart for long-term care started early in life. Chris knew in college he wanted to work with people and make a difference. Growing up, he saw his family caring for others.
“I had a grandmother who dealt with rheumatoid arthritis from an early age in her life and was aware of her struggles. My parents were very involved with the senior adult population through volunteering programs that they were involved with. I was exposed to a lot of adoptive grandparents over my childhood years and benefited from those experiences as well.”
This compassion carried over as an administrator. Chris emphasizes to his team the importance of customer service and follow-up with families. He is proud of his dedicated team at Majestic Care of Columbus.
Chris advises, “Quality care and customer service go hand in hand. We have a chance to make a positive, neutral, or negative impact, and we want to go for as many positives as we can. I make a point to follow-up with families and residents in a timely manner. ”
