During this #CNAWeek we’re spotlighting some of our amazing Care Team Members and recognizing the fundamental role they play in our community and the increased quality of life they provide to our residents.

We’re excited to spotlight Certified Nursing Assistant, Elizabeth Bowling, located at Majestic Care of Connersville. Elizabeth has worked as a CNA for 6 years.

Elizabeth’s interest in becoming a CNA started close to home.

“When I was younger my great grandma lived in a nursing home because she could no longer take care of herself at home. I remember going into the nursing home to visit her and seeing the CNAS and Nurses making friends with the residents. They gained their trust and helped them when they could no longer care for themselves, that’s when it sparked my interest to be in the Medical Field.”

After Elizabeth’s experience, she knew what she was meant to do. “I told my mom I wanted to work in a nursing home one day to take care of people who couldn’t take care of themselves. 5 short years later I became a CNA. Now after 6 years, here I am going to school to become a nurse!

She shared with us why she enjoys being a CNA: “When you see a resident’s faces light up when they see you because you have earned that relationship with them. Seeing you is the highlight of their day! It’s very rewarding to make sure they are happy and have what they need!”

Elizabeth likes that at Majestic Care everyone knows each other. When something happens in someone’s life there is always someone that’s there for them. Everyone is friendly and caring!

We’re thankful for Elizabeth and the passion and attention she brings to her residents.

Elizabeth, thank you for all that you do!
