Our team is proud to help residents regain more independence. Sherwin Bush had a femur fracture and came to Majestic Care of Whitehall after a hospital stay following his hip surgery. Mr. Bush’s baseline demonstrated needing minimal assistance with bed mobility, strength, balance, transfers and ambulation.
Upon his day of discharge, he was able to perform ALL functional mobility independently and walked with a cane up to 300′ for community re-entry. What an improvement!
Mr. Bush participated in both physical & occupational therapies. Our multidisciplinary team approach assisted him in a safe discharge home.
