Majestic Care of Connersville, in partnership with Reliant Rehabilitation, is excited to share resident Audrey Ruf’s Success Story! Audrey Ruf, a resident from Connersville, Indiana, was sent to the ER after a decline in condition at home and was admitted to Reid Hospital in early February. She was hospitalized for almost two weeks with multiple medical issues before being discharged.
Audrey was admitted to Majestic Care of Connersville shortly afterward with significant muscle weakness, balance impairment, and decreased endurance as a result of her hospitalization. She required moderate assistance for all functional mobility, daily activities, and walking. She also struggled with severe anxiety.
Her dedication to therapy, along with her motivation and determination, helped her progress towards her health goals. On May 30, 2024, Audrey was discharged home, returning to her husband at a supervision level with a rolling walker and assistance with all self-care tasks! Audrey said, “Therapy has been good to me and for me.” Congratulations to Audrey and her Care Team on their success!
