We’re are excited to spotlight Joyce, a resident here at Majestic Care of Connersville. In 2018, she was admitted to our Memory Care Unit, where she has thrived and made many friends. Joyce enjoys participating in most activities, she really enjoys music, dancing, popcorn and movies, trivia, and reminiscing with peers and staff.
Joyce has always been a strong determined woman; she is the mother of three boys and one girl. She loves and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren when able. She is a widow losing not one but two husbands.
She worked at Dana Corporation for almost thirty years, where she proudly states, “I could run any machine there better than most men!” Joyce has also raised horses throughout her life.
Joyce had COVID-19 earlier this year. To put it in her words, “It took my getty up for a while, but I’m back in the saddle now. You can’t keep a good horse down!” After getting over Covid-19 Joyce has regained her vigor for life. She has the ability to live her best life and brings a smile and a chuckle to all who know her.
