Majestic Care of Fairfield is excited to share resident Elaine Riley’s Success Story!
Elaine Riley, a resident of Majestic Care of Fairfield since 2022, actively engaged in occupational and physical therapy with Reliant Rehabilitation to enhance her strength and mobility. Recently, Elaine expressed her desire to walk down the aisle and stand during her wedding ceremony to marry another resident she met at the community. Through her commitment and collaboration with the therapy team, Elaine successfully achieved her goal on her wedding day, exchanging vows with her now husband!
Following their wedding, the newlyweds initiated the transition to assisted living. At the time of discharge, Elaine demonstrated improved independence in mobility and completing tasks. She expressed deep gratitude to the therapy team for their encouragement and support throughout her journey. “I will never forget the first time I walked with Theresa (PT), I never thought I was ever going to be able to walk again but with her help I was able to do so. I cried happy tears.” Congratulations to Elaine and her Care Team on their success!
