Majestic Care of Connersville is thrilled to highlight Resident James Amis’s Success Story!
James came to Majestic Care of Connersville in April of 2022. At the time of his admission, James required assistance with all daily tasks. Previous to making our community his home, James had resided with a roommate, who assisted him for the last 17 years. Through hard work and determination, working 5 times a week with our physical and occupational therapy team, James is now able to complete all daily tasks, including transfers, by himself! Upon discharge, James will be going home to his own apartment for the first time in 17 years. Outside of therapy, James also lends a huge part of his success to our Social Services Director, Amberley, who worked diligently alongside James to ensure his discharge would be a success! James states, “I am going to miss the staff. Everyone has been so good to me- the nurses, aides, everyone. I will come back to visit everyone!” Majestic Care of Connersville would like to say congratulations, James! We wish you all of the success in the world and hope you keep your promise to visit!
