Majestic Care of Fairfield is excited to share resident James Combs’ Success Story!
James Combs, a long-term care resident at Majestic Care of Fairfield, initially expressed interest in transitioning to assisted living. However, he spent most of his days in bed, watching TV. Upon receiving education about the requirements for moving to assisted living, James became motivated to start therapy. In occupational therapy, James showed significant progress, achieving increased independence with supervision for ambulating with a walker to the dining room for 2-3 meals a day! He also began socializing with fellow residents during the day. As a result of his remarkable improvement, James is set to move into his new apartment the following week! James said, “Thank you to the therapy team at MCOF for helping me get strong and move to my own apartment, I am so happy!” Congratulations to James and his Care Team on their success!
