Majestic Care of Newburgh is excited to share resident James Knight’s Success Story!
Mr. Knight admitted to Majestic Care of Newburgh with intentions of regaining his independence and increasing his overall strength. When he started therapy, he noted his biggest challenge was performing daily self care tasks independently. He also found that he needed to work on focus and endurance. After working with physical, occupational and speech therapy, his improvements are far from unnoticeable! For his best improvement, he states, “I am able to get around like I used to.” When Mr. Knight came to our community, he was wheelchair bound. However, now he roams the halls throughout the day using a walker. Mr. Knight has been inspiring to other patients. He reminds others to “try to help yourself to get better.” Keep up the good work, Mr. Knight!
