Majestic Care of Fort Wayne is excited to share resident John Slamiar’s Success Story!
John Slamiar, a long-term care resident at Majestic Care of Fort Wayne, was recently referred to Speech Therapy by the nursing department to upgrade his diet from puree and nectar thick liquids to a Dysphagia Advanced diet, which includes soft and bite-sized foods as well as thin liquids. Through John’s diligent efforts and the dedicated guidance of his speech therapist, he has successfully transitioned to enjoying a more diverse range of foods, including beans, soups, and eggs! Congratulations to John and his Care Team on this great achievement!
