We are excited to spotlight Gary Holman, who was admitted to Majestic Care of New Haven after a hospitalization from COVID-19.
Due to his hospitalization, Gary was very weak and required assistance with self-care, mobility, transfers, ambulation, and cognition. A plan of care was developed consisting of: physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy through reliant rehabilitation. The goal was to increase his independence with functional ways to perform daily activities so he could return home.
Gary worked extremely hard with therapy services to increase strength, cognition, and activity tolerance to regain his functional independence. Gary achieved his goal and returned home with help from his wife and community support!
We are so proud of Gary’s determination to recover. We wish him the best!!
