Ronald Standiford admitted to Majestic Care New Haven after a visit to the ER for cardiac related problems.
Due to his recent hospitalization, Ron was very weak and required extensive assistance with self care, mobility, transfers, ambulation, and cognition. We developed a plan of care through Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. This plan addressed his goal to increase his independence with daily skills to facilitate his return home with his wife.
Ron worked hard with therapy services to increase his strength, cognition, and activity tolerance to regain his functional independence. Ron was able to return home with the help of his wife, son, and community support! Congratulations to Ron and his Care Team!
