Majestic Care of Toledo is proud to share Richard Sidell’s inspiring Success Story!
Richard joined Majestic Care of Toledo on October 10, 2025, with a clear and meaningful goal—to return to the community with greater independence. From the very beginning, Richard was highly motivated and driven, especially when it came to regaining his ability to walk and reducing the level of assistance he needed each day.
When Richard first began Physical and Occupational Therapy, he required significant support with standing, transfers, mobility, and his activities of daily living. He also had limited movement in both his upper and lower extremities. Through consistent effort, determination, and the support of our therapy team, Richard made remarkable progress over the course of his stay.
By the time of his discharge on March 2, 2026, Richard was standing with stand‑by assistance and walking up to 225 feet using a hemi‑walker. He also regained independence with his daily routines and transfers, showing just how far his hard work had taken him. In addition, Richard worked closely with Speech Therapy and progressed to a regular diet with thin liquids by discharge.
What Richard enjoyed most during his rehabilitation journey was seeing his progress firsthand. He was always eager to get up and walk, taking pride in each new milestone—whether it was going a little farther or accomplishing something new on his own.
Congratulations to Richard and his dedicated care team on this outstanding achievement! We are so proud of his progress and honored to have been part of his journey back to the community.
