Majestic Care of Connersville is so proud to recognize resident Scott Minton’s Success Story!
Scott came to Majestic Care of Connersville in December 2021 after a lengthy battle with COVID-19, which began in September. Scott faced many hurdles during this time, including being sedated, on a vent, and eventually having a trach placed. After having issues coming off of sedation, which led to high blood pressure and cardiac arrest, Scott’s family feared the worst. Scott “woke up” on October 28th, 2021. At this time, he was unable to speak and completely bedridden. Once Scott came to Majestic Care, our therapy team went to work and, coupled with Scott’s unwavering determination, he took his first steps in February 2022! It’s been a long 6 months, but next week, Scott will be WALKING out the door of our community and HOME! Our Majestic Care team would like to say congratulations to Scott and his family! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this magic!
