Majestic Care of Newburgh is pleased to recognize resident Sharyn Halbig’s Success Story!
Sharyn was admitted to the Majestic Care of Newburgh requiring maximum assistance in her lower body as well as upper body dressing, moderate assistance in transfers, and minimum assistance in bed mobility. In addition, she was only able to walk about 5 feet. After undergoing our occupational and physical therapy services, she progressed from overall maximum assistance to complete independence! Her overall strength increased, allowing her to become independent in activities of daily living, standing, and transferring. Lastly, she advanced from walking 5 feet to 90 feet! We are so proud to share that Sharyn was discharged home. Congratulations to Sharyn and her Care Team on their success!
