Majestic Care of Livonia is proud to share Mr. Joseph H.’s inspiring Success Story!
Mr. H. came to Majestic Care of Livonia in October after a lengthy hospital stay due to complications with his kidneys. When he arrived, he was extremely weak and required full assistance for all mobility—including the use of a mechanical lift for transfers.
Despite these challenges, Mr. H. remained incredibly motivated. He looked forward to therapy each day and often stayed after his scheduled sessions to put in extra work. His goal was simple yet meaningful: to return home to his family.
Progress came gradually, but his dedication never wavered. Thanks to his hard work and the support of our compassionate therapy and care teams, Mr. H. made tremendous gains. By the time of his discharge, he was completing sliding board transfers with set-up assistance and walking with a wheeled walker using only light support.
We were thrilled to see his efforts pay off as he achieved his goal—returning home just in time to spend Christmas with his family.
