Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe is excited to share resident Marc Showen’s Success Story!
Marc was admitted to Majestic Care of Jefferson Pointe in February of 2023 after a month-long hospital stay due to a small bowel obstruction. When Marc admitted, he had a feeding tube and was unable to eat or take any medications by mouth. He required 2-4 people to assist him out of bed and was only able to walk about 10 feet with a walker. Marc worked hard with our rehabilitation team and it paid off! We are happy to announce that Marc has successfully discharged home! He no longer has a feeding tube, and he is able to eat regular food and take medications by mouth. He can also now walk up to 300 feet with a rollator walker. Congratulations to Marc and his Care Team on their success!
